Has an ex or current lover caused you to leave a social media platform?

Just some thoughts: I can't use twitter which would be helpful to promote myself because my ex boyfriend creeps into my feed and writes tweets to passive aggressively criticize me. And it doesn't matter how creative of a user name I use, he uses software to find me. I can't accuse him of stalking because he doesn't directly say anything, but since he starts writing to get under my skin when I have twitter I decided to stay off it. When I don't have twitter he barely writes anything yet from being compulsive he has 42k tweets - the same amount Trump had.

Ugh yes.. i’ve had a couple exes with paranoia stalker issues. It was awful. One of them was from three years ago and I’m just now able to post without getting anxious nausea. Sometimes somebody will say something to me that feels creepy familiar and I feel my body tighten.

No but an ex bullied and harassed me out of college. He would throw stuff at me and yell at me making a scene every time we bumped in to each other. I won't say what he did before all that though because some people might be triggered. Lets just say he didn't take no for an answer. Wish I had advice for you but it's hard to know what to do when people start acting scary.

Yeah, I had to set things to private and block them, and they'd still use someone else's account instead. I refuse to be chased off of my own profiles (some of which I had for years), but their behavior was discouraging as hell for a while.

Yes, for all I know he still finds me on sw, it went on for years, I deleted everything except for sw
