If you're on a first date with someone who is more interested in their phone than you, do you get up and leave?

I am not sure. I mean ideally you would want to be the focus point of the date, but sometimes people are on their phones because they're nervous and may have some anxiety. I do it myself sometimes. Once people are comfortable with someone I feel like then that allows for them to be okay with putting the phone down and focusing on your time together. It depends on why they're on their phone for the most part, but sometimes people have their reasons. For example, the may have kids that they're checking in on. .

@butterfly1013 dude, why are you tagging me.
butterfly1013 · 26-30, F
@Miram First and foremost I am not a dude and clearly that was an accident as there was no reason for me to tag you. Sometimes what will happen is what ever post you commented on before the next one it keeps certain things in the comment box. Like @ names and previous comments. I didn't notice it. Sorry about that. It was most definitely not intentional. Had you not told me i wouldn't have realized.

@Miram It has been edited and I removed it. Like I Mentioned it was definitely an accident and I apologize. 💕

@butterfly1013 I call everyone dude. You will get used to it.

I think I remember you now.

You started a thread a year and half ago. You said you will gift people in this site VIPs.

And all we had to do was add our names to the thread. And you will have a random draw?

Who won that game?

Never checked it back.

@Miram I figured, no problem.. sometimes I can read the energy of a message wrong. So, dude is fine for the most part.

Ummm.... I think the person I picked ended up not wanting it. I'm not sure if I even went through with it or not it was so long ago because I done forgot about it till you mentioned it.. I want to say I chose simply Chantou, but she is no longer a member on this site now. Don't quote me on the because I can't remember, but I think it was her who won.. whoever won at the end didn't even want it..

@butterfly1013 If they’re checking on their kids they’re only going to be a minute or two and that’s fine. But I’m thinking more like people who are looking at their phone the entire time instead of talking to their date

@Jenny1234 Right. I got what you meant, because I've seen this happen. My dad can be very rude that way when visiting other people's houses or out for dinner at a restaurant.
