I mean let's flip the script. You say that you're a good girl and you probably are. However, most men who read that in this post will think otherwise for the simple fact that you made a point of mentioning it.
It's kinda like those people you come across who make a point of always stressing how they're independent and they made it on their own. If they truly did, they wouldn't have to go to the extent of stating it via words. Their actions would speak louder.
