Have you ever fallen in love on the first date?

Seems unrealistic. But I've never been in love so I wouldn't know.
I hate seeing it that way on tv shows and movies.
They talk about shallow topics, then claim to be in love.
Sounds like lust to me.

@NiftyWhite I met mine on a blind date set-up by a friend who would not stop prodding me. By the end of our first date we both new we had encountered someone very special. My friend was right she said she knew we would hit it off, and did we ever. We would still be together today but just a year after we met she was taken from me by cancer at only 40 yrs old. She was the most beautiful person I ever met inside and out and I am greatful for being lucky enough to have known her even if only for a minute.

mine was similar set up. kind of a blind date except we exchanged some pics before meeting

@NiftyWhite I was only able to savor her company for a lil over a year. That was over 5 yrs ago and I haven't really dated since. I have resigned myself to the probability of always being alone.
