The one-word answers, the incomplete sentences forming an incomplete thought, the hyper-active use of the 'heart button' to acknowledge someone else's post instead of actually saying something intelligent to them, the grunts written in text-form are pretty cool to read, not to mention the posts written from an iPhone while the author is obviously splitting their attention between driving their car in traffic and participating within an active host of post responses, which I find pretty impressive to navigate through as well.

@swirlie A veteran? define how long I would have to be here to be classed as a veteran. But I'd say no, I just don't take the place too seriously. Occasionally you will find people who connect and actually converse, with sentences. Those are usually continued in message form. if you want to post on a forum like this, in a place that many feel no longer have rules or even where morals apply, then you open yourself up to what ever replies you receive.
I am fairly sure most of us know it going in, so yes, iv'e been guilty of hearting, because..why not? Some posts I do not want to get into a discussion about, simply pop my head in, and see what some witty and occasionaly intelligent replies have been left and duck out. if it's a serious post with someone going through some serious issue i will turn off idiot mode and see if I can help. But, I don't assume because someone left a one word reply, or just did the heart thing, thats a measure of their depth or intelligence, just merely that maybe tht's all they had time for
