Personally, probably not. I would prefer someone I'm seeing to bring to the table at least equal to what I am.

A job is a job which is better than no job.
I see the logic and practicality there, but the fact is, people are people, and they might have reasons for aiming low. You might have the most interesting and worthwhile person in the world sweeping and mopping and wiping tables. You really can't judge a person before you stand in their shoes.

Someone I worked with there in the mid 90s still works there and as a district manager makes well over 100k a year

If I was into that person. If they possesed the qualities I seen in a mate. If I were attracted to them.

Where they worked would have no bearing on my decision to date them.
SoFine · 46-50, F
True success in life is a balance. True success is being with all the mundane side of life. Mundane is 98% of life, sleep/clean/rest/eat/shop...

The best mate is one that is kind, treat animals with respect. ...shows value to been balanced.

If you are attracted to been with a high achiever, then watch them with a huge EGO, if they are not easily aggravated by small issues, then only then consider them.

All in balance is the key

I don't care what someone does for work. It doesn't define them as a person.
michgirl75 · 46-50, F
It's about the person not where they work!!!
Pambi · 31-35, F
@SW-User The question was...would you date them. Did I miss the part that included planning a future?
michgirl75 · 46-50, F
@SW-User working at McDonald's does not mean you cannot take care of yourself!

@Pambi The question was what it was.

I was responding to her answer, was I not? Lmao

There's a difference.
Yes ,I've always wanted to work there

If he was also attending school, sure.

I expect my partner to have planned for decent living.

It's a job, yes... but it sure as hell isnt going to cover a decent living.

No, I would not. What difference does age make when it comes to working in a place that supports the IRA, and how is that okay?
fairgame123 · 61-69, C
Not for $7.50 per hr.

No the smell would be too much

Are they the owner / manager or are the asking if I want fries with that? Beyond that though I do not think it's right to judge a person's value by their current job. These days, it is sadly common for people to take temporary crap jobs rather than be unemployed
