has anyone used a dating app

i have always been told by my parents that i'm handsome, quite an attractive guy- yet i can't seem to have any luck on these dating apps? i just recently joined one......but i don't think girls or women are the same as they used to be when i was growing up in the 80s...i don't know really- somethings changed.........plus you get a lot of fake profiles on these apps now..

any advice or help?
