Ballerinas weren't meant to be short. If you're familiar with ballet you would know why...
They are not gymnast either. Yet the pointed shoes only encourages being tall.
You remove the shoes from ballet you have nothing more than a dance performance.

@Notladylike Listen I do like short women. Might even prefer them. Yet I grew up with the classics.
I wouldn't ask Opera singer to be short and skinny either. And they normally are not.
Doesn't mean that I prefer heavy set women.
