I do! Not the song though. It was in grade 6 at our first school dance ever. He made it a habit that the first slow dance of every school dance he asked me. Not because we were boyfriend and girlfriend, but just because we were such good friends inside and outside of school living in the same neighbourhood. He’s been a life long friend to me and his brother is from that show kids in the hall.

Not really, but I'm pretty sure it was to Stairway to Heaven, it was always the last song of the dance, "it's now or never!" lol
Then there is always that awkward bit in it where it gets faster and you don't know whether you should slow dance fast, or break apart and start fast dancing! :P

@Lilymoon it's funny cus when i moved back to bc and middle school was 8-10 and after all those years i'd run into the odd classmate whom i crushed on. we'd talk about the old days and a couple of them wondered why i never asked them out...i told them they were out of my league...they told me no i wasn't 😭

@beermeplease I barely dated in high school. You shoulda asked them. 😊

@Lilymoon yeah...when i saw two of them together at a bar years later i told them, but both were married by that time. it was fun seeing them again though and talking about the old days

Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
@beermeplease were you nervous to ask her to dance?
beermeplease · M
@Jenny1234 in bc our middle school was 8-10, and high school 11-12. but i think now it is 8-12
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
@beermeplease my friend who lives there I told you about said her son started high school in grade 8. 8-12. I couldn’t imagine my boys being mature enough to start high school at that age.

@Jenny1234 i'd be more worried if i had a daughter starting the 8th grade in a 8-12 school
