To all my Texas friends...

Okay, I'm back in your fine state. Been in meetings all day. So much that my brain hurts.

The plan for tonight is the same Cowtown Rodeo that I went to a year ago. You might recall that I posted a story about it complaining about how the animals were treated and all that.

Well, I'm not going to do that again. It is what it is, but just remember Imma Northern girl.

Anyway, the issue right now is do I even go?? I skipped the shuttle down there so if I do go it will be by Uber. That's no big deal, but my social battery is seriously negative right now. I need to recharge.

But my team made me promise to get there when they noticed me not getting on the shuttle.

So ...

It's the "team building event" for the trip.
My spot is already paid for.
I promised my team I would go.
I REALLY don't want to.

Do I go? Or not? Help me decide!

You are an adult. You may do as you wish. I see you are already there. Having lived happily in Texas for a few years a long time ago, I did not attend rodeos. I do not believe in them. So much cruelty. Good evening to you.

@PoetryNEmotion I went because I promised my team I would. 🤷‍♀. Can't say that I watched a single event though. We had a private VIP area for our group so I just stayed in back away from the events. 🤷‍♀
@sarabee1995 So you went. You do not approve of rodeos. How does this make you authentic?

@PoetryNEmotion Hmm... Let me clarify... I don't "disapprove" of rodeos ... But I also don't enjoy rodeos. They are simply not my thing, but to each his own.

And I'm not sure what any of that has to do with being authentic? 🤷‍♀
@sarabee1995 Ask your mother. Adios.
