The women went pretty quick yesterday. The stones are dry, so everything goes a lot faster. But there were also a lot of people that fell and had issues with their gear.

This is one brutal race... only once a year, but I love it. Sadly, I also have to go to card tournament. But I'll record it to see it later. The only race that I don't skip, and I'm not even a big bicycle race fan. I just watch a few races a year. But in this one, anything can happen... the circuit is so brutal that the stones can kick anyone out if they are unlucky. And after hours of bopping on your bicycle, you'll end up in an old bicycle stadium that used to be used for world records. Which is in stark contrast to the rest of the race. The stadium itself is in bad shape... but yeah, it's a lot better then the stones. The racers need to make one more lap and then they finish. First one, wins a stone to put on the mantlepiece! 😅 Ah well, next to the money price, it's a prestige game... it's is edition 119 ... so it's been going on for a long time.

These aren't part of Paris-Roubaix, but most of them are used in "The Tour of Flanders" ... another cobblestone classic that is over a 100 years old.
