I Am Part Irish

So last year I did a post about being 1/4 Cherokee. It turns out that I'm not (should have not taken my grandmother's word on this lol.) I had two family members one on each side do the DNA thing and there is ZERO Native American. There is however much more of something I never knew, and that is a huge chunk of Irish from both my parents. 65% Irish/Celt from my dad and 52% from my mom. (There's also a bit of German, Welsh, and Swedish in there) so there you have it. I'm mostly Irish and can now celebrate St. Paddy's Dad with true roots. (Last part was meant to be funny.) It's interesting to find out that I am way more Irish than I ever thought. My dads family was traced back to mid 1600's. Subsequently I removed my post about being Cherokee. It's disappointing but very cool to be a Celt!:)

@PhoenixPhail Sure. If I am incorrect on something I need to make it right.
(That being said did I take it down or just meant to take it down? 🤔)

@ravenwind43 Yep it's down🙂
@ravenwind43 And thank you for making it right. You're quite exceptional in doing that. It helps to restore my faith in humanity, which has been suffering for quite some time.

@PhoenixPhail I am glad to contribute positively in some way even on a small scale..world needs more of that.
@ravenwind43 The world DOES need more of that. And, it's not on a small scale. It's just one small example of something on a very LARGE scale. The size of the example does not diminish the magnitude of your contribution. 💗

@PhoenixPhail Good point. Well said and I agree.
@ravenwind43 Thanks. 🤗
