I think the Indian owner of my hotel might be trying to hold back pay.

I think he is holding out a day here and there. Trying to stretch it out. First he told me I would get paid on the 1st and 15th. My first check in October came on the 2nd and the next one on the 17th. So I expected to get paid again maybe on the 31st or at least by yesterday the 2nd. Today's the 3rd and it still didn't hit my account. I told him. And he said they forgot to do payroll so I will get paid this Friday the 6th. I asked if there was going to be extra days pro-rated on that one. He said no. So if that's the case, then that means I should get paid on the next Friday following that. I'm on a salary and I get paid every 2 weeks. Does this sound fishy?
