I'm used to working for Indians, but how would you feel about the usual treatment/expectations?

I run the hotel 24 hours a day with no days off. The housekeeping couple and myself run it and live on property with no charge. But still get paid very little considering the hours put in. So far, I have had to shell out my own money for things here and there that the owner doesn't want to buy. Like light bulbs, a rug to cover a really bad spot on carpet, breakfast items, containers to display jelly packs, tape and glue to patch up desks and dresser pannels that are falling apart. I feel like I care more about this hotel than he does. He also has me take the couple living here to the bank and grocery store. No one has offered me tips for these extra things. The bank was a hassle. I had to take them there 4 times and wait ans wait, and at times translate for them. At another Indian owned hotel I worked at for 10 years, they had us do their personal laundry, clean personal pans and crock pots, their 8 year old child bossed us around. THAT was the main place that kinda broke me in and was the start of noticing the Indian "ways"

I feel like I would work somewhere else...
Sounds like you aren't being fairly paid and they're not properly maintaining the place nor taking care of the employees...

Other than letting y'all live there for free. But sounds like y'all aren't being fairly paid for what y'all are putting in, at least the way you describe it.
