US media consistently displays (or displayed - I haven't watched it for five years now) ample and enticing cleavage and the casual crossing and re-crossing of the long lovely legs of female commentators while gravely discussing international matters and intricate political concerns.

I have no objection to watching pretty people. But doing hard-hitting, gritty stories on sexual harassment while required to wear a dress slashed to the navel from both ends is sheer hypocrisy.
