Sorry. Didn't read your whole post. Since Asia is a continent that had many nations, ethnics and races, yes Indians are also Asian. We say "Asian" meaning a race label and that is misleading and incorrect. "Asian" would include anyone originating from that continent just like "African" would be descriptive of anyone originating from that contingent regardless of race or skin color.
Assuming that "white" is a proper or complete identification for all Caucasoids is just as misleading and incorrect as is the race label "black" is exclusive of the many different skin colors of Negroids and misleading. Assuming all mongloid race Asian have yellow skin is just as wrong and excluding of mongoloids of lighter and darker skins.
East Indians are Asian yes, but mostly Caucasoid race even though their skin colors very from pale to very dark - just like those of the mongloid abd negroid races.
