I Am German

I have German ancestry on my mother's side of the family. Her mother's parents came to the US in the 1800s, and her father's ancestors also came to the US but I'm not sure when. I've been to Germany twice but on group tours that did not get me anywhere close to where I think my great grandparents came from. I took German one year in college, but never had time to take more-I remember a small handful of words.
