Any Canadians ever have to get an Apostille

On a document to be sent to another country?
hmmm. i could be wrong but i think you might be able to do that at city hall.
@Jenny1234 i know it was a bit of a pain in the butt for my mom when she was alive trying to collect on her very small austrian pension and a portion of my dad's small german pension

@beermeplease she had to through the same procedure?
@Jenny1234 actually i'm not sure. i know my mom's social worker helped her out with those kinds of things. she was really good for my mom . she really knew her way around certain government institutions and who and how to deal with them

I have never heard of that.

@Degbeme I’d never heard of it until three weeks ago. My daughter is studying in Europe and is applying for a work permit and needs her Canadian criminal background check done and authenticated for the foreign country with an apostille stamp

@Jenny1234 Hope you can get that done for her quickly.

@Degbeme yes I will. I’m getting it notarized tomorrow then I’ll go downtown next week. They take walk ins.
I have NO IDEA what a Apostille is, but it sounds like a commissioner of oaths.
