42 pound turkey!

It's not my bird, my friend is cooking it for supper tonight, he got it from a friend of his who raises turkeys so I'm guessing it wasn't that expensive!!

Fullmetal · 46-50, M

42 lbs!!!

How long did it take to cook, and was it not tough?

I've never gone that big, but I've had much better luck with smaller birds in general.
Fullmetal · 46-50, M
@MistyCee nope, it was delicious!!

We used to raise turkeys on the farm. We sold about 200 a year. The big ones were hard to sell. We gave one to my aunt and uncle and their 8 kids. The turkey weighed 45 lbs.
