OMFG! 馃槀馃ぃ She's a genius! I need to meet her and get some good tips for a few prank ideas that I have.

What does plummy mean? And what is that chocolate thing that sounded like " a toby?" that shes says "No" about in the video.

@Scribbles: plummy means very posh. I confess that an attractive woman with a plummy Brit accent has me going EVERY TIME!

Toblerone. A Swiss chocolate bar. Oh please tell me that you have them over there. Your life cannot be complete without Toblerone!

@room101: Thanks. I suppose in Americanize I'd say it's a fancy accent then. I do wonder where the word plummy originated from though.

I don't know. I've never had a Toblerone.

@Scribbles: plummy came from the idea that posh people talk as if they've got a plum in their mouths.

The next time I munch on a Toblerone, I'll be thinking of you and sending you chocoholic vibes 馃槣

@room101 And um, talking like they have a plum in their mouth....that's attractive?! 馃槸

Is this like a "they talk and enunciate so well they can talk around the plum in the mouth" kind of thing or like a "talking with their mouth crammed full of food" sort of thing?

@Scribbles seriously.......does Kate Beckinsale sound like she's got a gob full of grub 馃槀馃槀馃槀

@room101 Ok you got me. Kate Beckinsale has a beautiful voice. Clearly.

But as for the term "plummy" (In a more objective case\non Kate Beckinsale case), it doesn't exactly just translate to beautiful right? Is it really a complementary term or more like a half complement-half insult?
room10151-55, M
@Scribbles I suppose some people use the term in a derogatory way but it just means that one enunciates ones words correctly. This includes how one articulates their mouth and overall facial expressions.

OK, I'm taking the piss a little bit. It just means talking with a posh Brit accent 馃槈
