Well, the votes were cast and decisions were made. We can't have a system where we just keep having re-votes until the minority get the decision that they wanted in the first place.
@dunpender: It will at that point, of course, but then surely the new minority will just complain and demand re-votes and referendums until they get what they want again...
Scotland voted to remain in the United Kingdom
The United Kingdom voted to leave the EU (whether or not all of Scotland preferred to stay)
The democratic process has been followed.
But now Sturgeon (or as I think of her Salmond 2: The Return) is stirring up a load of crap in an effort to build up her own power-base.
She isn't doing all this for the good of the Scottish people, she is doing it for herself, she is a politician after all...
It's far to early to determine how Brexit has affected the country for good or for ill.
People pointed to a severe drop in the strength of the pound showing that Brexit was a disaster within the first few days, but let's face it, a banker breaks wind in the wrong room, the markets panic and the pound fluctuates.
