When you've cycled to the vaccine centre and had that 4th Covid jab and it's a new variant and where you've been asked by 4 different people if you're allergic to anything and then told to stay seated for 15 mins as you're on your own and cycling could be dangerous should you have a reaction.

Then your minds start racing, what if you have a reaction and keel over. And then further, after 20 mins when you're on your bike in school rush surburbia. What if that reaction kicks in 25 mins after the jab. I don't stand a chance looking at how some of these parents drive.

My joke to the nurse that "strenuous activity" is mostly in my past now at the blood donation session last week just got an eye roll.

Can't even flirt effectively with nurses now 😂

I think the fifteen minutes gives them enough time to know if you would have a reaction, if you were going to, I'm betting you'd feel some symptoms early enough. I had my COVID and flu jab last Monday. Beyond a little bit of soreness where the needles went in, I felt nothing and didn't know I'd had either of them. My husband felt sick after his and another friend was feeling poorly for a couple of days. There's always the possibility of reaction with any jab but better to get protection and do your bit to lessen the spread if you can. Maybe wait a bit longer, till the nutters on the roads are back in their houses. You can be doubly sure then xx

I don’t have that issue, would never get it. Especially with all the info coming out. Reactions can happen straight away, weeks months and even years.

@Fairydust I must say I did um and ah over this before my first jab. My bro caught Covid in Jan 21 just as jab rollout was starting in the UK and he was hospitalised with breathing difficulty. It was touch and go and he pulled through. I also lost a work colleague to Covid in April 2020. So, considering I'm from the same gene pool as my Bro and having looked at the statics for post jab fatalities, I opted for the jab. I hear what you say about long term etc but at the moment I have all vital signs. The post was more about that 15 min wait after the jab and what if... Lol 😊

@Ironicman yeah i understand, I have family that’s been vax injured, risks on both sides.
