Did you have to do indoor p e in bare feet or were you allowed plimsolls?

We were supposed to wear plimsolls, but if one girl forgot hers then the whole class went barefoot for safety reasons. Gymnastics and dance were always done without shoes and socks.

@Hayleywg Definitely not good. I would have preferred all PE to be done without plimsolls as you ended up with grubby soles from going barefoot where people had been with shoes 😩
