If you have a child aged 0 to 6 , talk to them - often, point things out and tell them stories about whatever it is you've seen. Hold their hand and sing as you walk. Stop in the park and play some ball or push a swing. Smile and be interested in whatever they have to tell you.
Please don't shove them in buggy and stay glued to your mobiles all day, tapping away endlessly. I'm shocked at how many children have become the forgotten generation as I watch parents ignore their kids for hours. Is it any wonder that so many children now suffer from ADHD. It brings a tear to my eye when I see it. Love them, they're not children for long.
