I Am British

The differences between American and British etiquette always intrigue me. For instance, if I bump into someone by accident, I say sorry, if someone trips over or knocks sth, I say sorry whether I had sth to do with it or not...and my American friends' response is always "oh it's okay it's not your fault" ... like yes, I know it's not my fault.. It's just THE THING TO SAY... 馃槉

@xRedx I've noticed it with quite a number of Americans I've met over the years... not generalising but..
