Miliband Promising Harsh Criminal Penalties for Those Who Offend Muslims

I suspect that the term "Islamophobia" is applied in the UK like it is in the US---to speaking candid and accurate things about Islam or Muslims that rub Muslims the wrong way.

I believe that it was in the past year or year and a half that I read about a small party UK politician who was arrested by local police for quoting from memory in public from an essay on Islam by Winston Churchill.

Is this the kind of country that the British want?

I hope they will return to their imperiled heritage of liberty.

It seems to me that Labour, and to a lesser extent, Cameron, see the UK in terms of multiple tiers of citizenship, with Muslims and homosexuals in the top tier, and straights who are genuine Brits in a lower tier.
