It’s Hispanic and Latino heritage month September 15-October 15

What accomplishments and contributions to society does it make you think of? For some reason I think of folklore and myths like la llorona and la lechuza. But there are lots of contributions made by Hispanic and Latino individuals. Hispanic is derived from Spanish language and culture. Latino derives from Latin America ( Central America. South America and maybe part of the Caribbean) which can include languages like Portuguese, French, or Spanish. Brazilians for example are Latino but not Hispanic.
