Difficulties in cultural concepts with the Nepali people…

I have no husband, no boyfriend, no kids. That’s strange for asian ppl I get it. But somewhat they can understand that. They maybe can imagine a series of reasons as why I’m single right now.
But what seems like, that cannot fit in their minds is, that I don’t want one! It seems unbelievable to them. I must be looking for a husband, right? No! I’m not looking for anyone. It just doesn’t fit their thinking..

Because it's rare for them. For them, If you are living in social setup, it means you have opted for living in grihastha(householder). You don't look like a sannyasin(female monk) to them.

@ABCDEF7 oh wow what an interesting read. I've only reached halfway but will finish it. Very explanatory. Helps me understand them better. So what am I to them ? They can't categorize me
