Is this a fair assessment of Americans, using a loose definition, culture?

Drugs, yes? Violence, yes? Sex, no? Get outta here.

I think I'd prefer the drugs led to sex instead of violence... but ....

Give me all the sex

@SW-User I can understand her sentiment. I would of course feel the same way if I wanted to be with someone who wasn’t into it. But it surely could have been fun 🖤

@RebelFox They say some people come into your life for a reason? I can't say my orientation itself has changed much, but I've always had this about myself and have found myself loving multiple people at a time before. Maybe years later I see repressed wants? and if so, no one is changing that other than me in how I love life.

@SW-User Beautiful. I think that’s all it is. Dating has been a disaster for me because people want so much exclusivity to the point they’re sucking out your soul. Humans have become so starved and needy in the heart. Feelings are gobbled up. Love is wasted on one plate. You gotta keep it spicy and share that love. Let it flow in and out. I believe that would be healthy, if for no other reason than to not be consumed by jealousy and insecurity.

If that is what you think of Americans and therefore the United States of America, you are ungrateful as is the rest of the world.
SW-User
@gdon39 One can't put up questions? Is the world supposed to orient itself around America? Get over it, some questions will exist considering the role America plays
SW-User
@gdon39 I have no duty to be grateful to the United States of America, it's actually telling in your words.

@SW-User I understand your response and I understand how tumultuous these times are.

Please enlighten me how the rest of the world other than a modest amount of support of money, and equipment keeps this global economy, safety and everything damn thing else is somehow helpful? Tell me what government or country does more?

The Trillions of dollars the American people pay to cover the entire world with protection, the massive amount of financial commitment is easily overlooked when we are educating your children, defeating your dictators who deny basic human rights only to have the very efforts those communities seek undermined

Who pays? The American people. Who suffers? The American people who are spending our dollars to be the world police because someone must.

If I can ask a question to better clarify this so I can give a better response, where do these notions stem from?
What source gives you these type of ideas about Americans?
SW-User
@Dainbramadge Really it was more silly .... and it's quite known America censors sex, yet doesn't censor violence.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Dainbramadge I think a typical example would be the Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction was a big deal but they (same as Canada) let our kids watch murder on TV and play violent video games. American TV just seems to censor sex much more than violence.
