If this were blacks, the race card would be used and you'll hear from Jessie Jackson and such and there will be a riot.

@FitAndTrimYetThick: Get out of here if you can't handle the truth.
@Yawning:
Take your own advice.
@FitAndTrimYetThick: again, this is the truth. Only real racists calls other bigot or racist.
Nice cop out, no real facts anymore, so you're done?
@FitAndTrimYetThick:
I see it takesa group to defeat a one man battle? What do you think, you both can tag in your backups!!! - if you give up?!

I do not think race has nothing to do with it, although I think the bigger issue is corporate greed.

Racial stereotypes exist. Just that this time, David Dao proved them wrong -that he may look like a bespectacled docile Asian but he is far from being obedient or passive. I think the airlines people did not expect him to defy orders and thus when he did, all the more they handled him roughly. Asians are known to be compliant and not take to the streets to protest or litigate.

In the US, in 2016, Asian men and women take home more than their white counterparts. It is due to their work ethic and the fact that they assimilate readily into their host countries. In a place like the US, they are valued because they do not cause trouble. However, quiet does not mean they will be bullied. They will not take to the streets. Lame. Pressure will come in the form of boycotting the airline and all things American. Economic sanctions work best when dealing with a country that speaks only in such terms
