@HobNoblin I hope you're right about the rank and file actually wanting what's best for America, but I really hope at some point, enough of them will see through the culture war crap and start looking for serious leaders who want to actually govern with an eye towards the future instead of offering bread and circuses to the mob and lining their own pockets while they can.

I really don't think, in the long term, that purifying the country, purging it of different acting and thinking people, and walling ourselves off from the rest of humanity is a great thing. I'd prefer to participate and compete economically in the modern world instead of attempting to recreate a fictional past that never was or worse yet, one that was and we got past it for a reason.

I dont buy that we were better off under Jim Crow or when homosexuals had to hide their partners, or when women were 2nd class citizens, but beyond that, the game that I think Trump is playing is to give people enemies to blame and persecute, instead of focusing on actually building a better country for the future.

We need infrastructure, education, imo, far more then we need border walls, mass deportations, and a perverted version of Christianity as a State religion, and an economy purposefully destabilized so that a few capitalists can profit before it collapses.

@MistyCee We need deportation most of all. If we have no border, we have no country eigher. Right next to that we need to recognize that men can't become women, if they want to become women, something is wrong. The same if you want to have "sex" with the same sex as you. Sex evolved for reproduction. Anything else is defect. If we can't see reality, we're doomed. We're not trying to bring back the past , we're trying to repare deliberate damage.

@MistyCee No doubt you do. I don't think all change is wrong. You might be surprised. Should the technology become available, I'm all for reengeneering humanity. I think transhumanism is our only real hope for long term survival. I just don't think that trany nonsense is anything other than just that. Playing pretend that something is healthy when it's obvious disease, is just dumb and benefits no one. Living a lie is not progress, it's running from reality.
