Imagine if people were as different from each other as dogs are!

Colours would be way more varied than now, and very few of us would be just one colour.
There would be huge variety in the shapes of faces and bodies.
Some people would be three times the height of others, and the range of normal body weights would be off the charts.

Dogs mostly get along with each other!
Why do humans have such a hard time getting along with each other, with the slight variations between us??

Perhaps I’m cynical, but dogs generally have to be socialized or many will attack each other, especially the smaller and weaker dogs.

@bijouxbroussard Kinda like people, huh?
@sarabee1995 Precisely like people.

@bijouxbroussard Yup. 🤷‍♀️

@sarabee1995 @bijouxbroussard so the point stands, I think. If dogs with their HUGE obvious differences can (mostly) be socialized to get along, then surely it should be possible for people, with our small differences, to be socialized that way.
@ServantOfTheGoddess The funny thing is, people have to be socialized to not get along. Generally, if you put two small children together, if they haven’t been taught otherwise, they will play together, regardless of differences.

@ServantOfTheGoddess Exactly. 😊
@bijouxbroussard Yes 👍. Discrimination is a 'Learned Behavior'.
