My Experience In NYC

Once,I went to NYC and Washington DC for a holiday. One of the days,I opted to join a hip hop day tour in NYC as I've always liked hip hop music.

An African American guy was the van's driver.First thing he did was look me up and down and proceeded to tell me the tour will be conducted in English.I replied that I'm aware of that.

He then asked me how good my English is.I replied by saying I don't think there will be any problem here!As you can see,I'm able to understand every word you just said!Thank you very much!

So it was assumed that I can't speak English because I'm an Asian from Asia?Do you even know where Singapore is in the first place? No!It is NOT a part of China! Singapore is in South East Asia near Malaysia for crying out loud!By the way,English is the first language here!

Sorry about that. Americans really don't think before they open their mouths
