People feel entitled to an unprohibited pursuit of happiness in this country. As they should. That is something this country is capable of. But some people feel more entitled to that happiness. They don't care that it comes at the expense of others. We all need to acknowledge that following a path that grants anyone an encumbered pursuit of happiness at the expense of others is wrong. End of story.

so am I and I'm curious what part of the country (if in the usa) racism and discrimination still exist other that in the news separating our country? I personally haven't experienced (as per the definition)being treated differently in over 30 years

Racism is a reality and perhaps the feeling sick of hearing it, for some, has something to do with the fact we have still not been able to eradicate it? We can't fix it so we will ignore it kind of thinking?

I guess my problem is the news and select groups throw these words around as if it's reality in this day and age, Now if were taking reverse racism then yes that is rampant in this country at the moment.. Black on white crime is out of control ,just two days ago the socalled news played a tape of a older man beaten because the black men and women present felt he voted for trump..
