I Hate Racism and Discrimination

My best friend who was my neighbour for many years and was the only person that really understood me was black .I miss her to this day and we lost her to cancer .The reason she became our neighbour and we met is because she moved away from a black area of london with 2 young girls because she feared for their safety .She actually told me one day she was ashamed of being black because most blacks in uk seemed to have a dam great chip on their shoulder and blamed everyone but themselves for the gang warfare and black on black daily attacks .She felt forced to move for the safety of her daughters growing up .The area we lived in at the time was completely white , they were the only black family in town .As I say we became very close and one of her daughters we still see to this day has a family of her own .
