I Hate Racism and Discrimination

Neo-Nazis, skinheads, the KKK, the Ayran Brotherhood, all of these groups are coming out of the wood work lately, louder and angrier than ever, determined to take back a place in "the mainstream" and people fearfully believe it's because they're on the rise and getting bolder.

But what if they're not?

The data says the overwhelming majority disagree with racists and other bigots, and the racists know this because they're reading the same studies as everyone else. I believe this knowledge has terrified them. Elderly bigots live in terror of their children or grandchildren bringing home a person of color as a spouse, coming out as gay, or telling the family they're an Athiest. Younger racists feel the same way when they see a mixed race child or interracial couple, but know all they will get is angry, disgusted looks if they say a word. When an animal is cornered, frightened, and dying, it will bare its teeth and growl louder than ever. So what if the marches, rallies, and constant blogging of neo-Nazis and other bigots isn't a sign of their return, but their anguished and resentful death rattle?

So the next time I see some clean cut suit wearing racist talking about his "policies" on TV, I'm going to laugh at him. Because he doesn't believe he can win. He just wants to piss off people before he goes down.

And I won't give him the satisfaction.

By labeling everyone as racist and bigots drives them into the arms of this element.

America is screwed.

@Jasondf If your response to criticism about the way you treat other people is "fine, then I guess I'll just hate minorities!" then I have some bad news for you.
Jasondf · M
@OggggO most people are good hard working honest loving people. We alll want the same thing as each other.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Jasondf Exactly. And the kind of person who responds to things that they do that hurt others being pointed out by saying "fuck you, I'm doubling down!" isn't.
Jasondf · M
@OggggO so much hate. It’s gonna burn everything up
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Jasondf Which is why identification and eradication of bigotry is essential.
Jasondf · M
@OggggO. By what means?
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Jasondf Education of the unwitting, ostracization of the unwilling.
Jasondf · M
@OggggO re-education work camps? That’s what they do in China.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Jasondf Actual education, such as listening to minority voices about the shit they are being put through on a daily basis.
MidsouthGuy · 31-35, M
@Jasondf Nope, none of that. But we definitely need to be able to call a racist a racist. "See that guy over there in the white hood, and that shaved head gentleman with the swastika? They're racists. You should ignore everything they say."
Jasondf · M
@OggggO how about just squeezing them out of society. Don’t let them buy or sell.
MidsouthGuy · 31-35, M
@Jasondf Oh but that would interfere with the free market America has such a hard on for. Government involvement in the market would be *gasp* SOCIALIST!
Jasondf · M
@MidsouthGuy maybe there could be a small tattoo to separate the good people from the bad. The market would work for itself
MidsouthGuy · 31-35, M
@Jasondf Then you would have the religious whack jobs "tattoos are against my religion" yapping at you. And religious bigots are a lot more eager to murder than most racists.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@Jasondf Just watching people's behavior and responding accordingly is a lot easier…
Jasondf · M
@MidsouthGuy how about an invisible chip under the skin?
