I Hate Racism and Discrimination

I was talking to a white guy, awhile back about using the N word. He couldn’t understand why he couldn’t use that word. Then he went on about black people being too sensitive and we get offended easily. He proceeded to tell me that slavery was over, and I should get over it. So while he’s explaining to me reasons for why white people, should offend black people with racial slurs, because it’s called “freedom of speech” bs, eI’m just sitting back laughing at this idiot. After he was done, I came back with this...

“Nobody is stopping you from using the N word. By all means, do so really loud, in a crowded place full of black people. And see how that works out for you.”

After I said that, the racist idiot shut up. The N word comes with a warning. That’s the point. And that fool was too dumb to realize that. If you’re questioning why a word shouldn’t be offensive based on your lack of experience, to those that know more than you based on their’s, then enough said.

People continually use "freedom of speech" not in the context it was written. The constitution guarantees that you can speak out against the ":government" without fear that the "government" will do anything about it. It does not protect you from private venues or in the workplace. You can slander or libel someone without being sued for example or a teacher can use profanity in the classroom. First amendment doesn't protect you from being stupid.
