I can understand how you MIGHT feel that way if you are a public sort of person. I don't feel blamed in any way. I am a very strong conservative and MAGA supporter, but I only speak of my opinions here online...where I can block the creeps who want to argue endlessly and uselessly.

I'm a nobody and content to remain that way.
But there are some things anyone can do.
We can be pleasant and helpful whenever we meet a new migrant or asylum seeker.
We can do our best to get to know them and help them integrate into our communities.
We can do our best to increase ecologically safe inventions, behaviors and efficiencies.
There will come a time when, due to climate change, the rate of undocumented and illegal migration will accelerate dramatically, like hoards of locusts descending wherever food and potential prosperity SEEM to be possible.
And the more that come in plague proportions, the less food and prosperity there will be for all that live in that place.
I don't intend this as propaganda against migration.
Rather, I see it as inevitable and unstoppable.
It's already too late to stop climate change. The most we can do is slow the rate of acceleration, and that's unlikely due to the lack of government willingness to make the necessary changes, and lack of collective human awareness of just how bad it already is.

I'd say this is because we can't always know what's true and what's not, especially if we haven't lived there.
We often don't know What and How Much we don't know.
But there's another reason.
By definition, being somewhere between 85 and 115 IQ covers 90% of most human populations, while being under 100 IQ accounts for 50% of us all.
It is stupid to make the errors of believing:
1. The media always tell the truth. (Mistakes are inevitable even among those with the highest integrity and best sources.)
2. That whatever your algorithm feeds you is true: it probably isn't. Always check independent sources.
3. That a person coming from a particular place automatically supports whatever the government of that place believes, says, passes as law or does.
(On the contrary, if they've emigrated from their place of birth, they probably loathed their government, the dominant religion, or something of significance that was long-term and unavoidable.)
