I'm not saying it's okay that somebody threw a rock at a little girl. That was wrong, and that person belongs in prison. But you have to admit that people are filming some serious jack-booted brutality.

@StygianKohlrabi I guess I'm going to have to change my name to nobody, because it's pretty clear to me that Alex Pretti was filming ICE as they attacked protesters, tried to offer help, got ganged up on by eight of them, who put him down on his knees and shot him. But hey. You be the judge.

@ItsMeMorgue well... I heard politicians calling for an independent investigation now. that will include all the witnesses and be better than what casual observers can decide. but using terms like execution doesn't help.

that being said we're not taking into account how much these officers are being harassed.

I don't know what you call it when a man is pushed up against a wall and then down on his knees before being shot nine times by ten officers AFTER they took the gun out of the holster on his back, but that's exactly what I call it.

@ItsMeMorgue well that's not what this discussion was about. it's about why violence by illegal immigrant criminals, which is quite common, isn't a point of liberal outrage. the woman shot in SF is one case.
