Immigration is good for America.

They play a crucial role in our economy. With a diminishing desire for parenthood, welcoming immigrants is necessary to counter population stagnation. Had they come from Europe and resembled Donald Trump, Republicans might not object.

The only credible argument coming from the right is: they're coming in illegally. If that's the case then make it easier for people to come here. There is an international asylum law. The United States is actually breaking the law by making it so hard for people to come here seeking asylum. That is why they are assigned lawyers who argue in court for them; they have the legal right to come here to seek asylum.

We should embrace as many immigrants as possible. A significant portion of them hold conservative values. They have strong work ethics and hold deep appreciation for America. They are simply seeking a better future.

When you don't have a secure border, you don't have a secure country or really any country at all. America has essentially become the United States of Mexico.

@StrictSouthernHOH they are importing huge amounts of drugs as well and in a variety of ways. Carrying them in backpacks over the border and handing them over to someone who collects them and then transfer them to a truck or whatever to be trafficked here We have had arrests of cartel members in OKC due to two different interstate highways intersecting here.
@cherokeepatti We can thank the CIA for our drug issues.

It's actually the “United Mexican States.”

@NativePortlander1970 and certain politicians profited heavily, like Poppy Bush and Bill Clinton. And others.
