Be honest.... do you view non-white people as British?
For this asylum issue there's a problem all round- we have the far right calling them 'foreign invaders' and then the far left acting like we have unlimited space.
France need to pull their weight more and they should be distributed between EU Countries and us.

@BritishFailedAesthetic All my relatives are white as it happens. And I dont hold that against them.😷
@whowasthatmaskedman I don't mean it like that- basically when I hear phrases like "i mourn the old times, the way things once was here in the uk, and i can't get over how things have changed" I feel it can be a dog whistle for saying "I want to see more white people."

@BritishFailedAesthetic We are cool.😉 Race is a touchy subject I know. But both in Britain and in Oz my personal experience has been in dealing with more educated people and the more education you get, the less of an issue it seems to be..While at a" Neighbour" level, the migrants often work harder to be good neighbours..😉

So heres the thing...Law of supply and demand says that the more of something you have the cheaper it gets. So if you want to push the cost of labor down, you bring in more people.. And if you want to push the value of housing up, you supply more people without building enough homes for them all. Now you work out who benefits from that..And while you are there, think about what all these extra people will do to a NHS that is already underfunded and overstretched..Almost like they wanted it to collapse..."init?"😷

@whowasthatmaskedman you left out some important points, namely all the wars and political conflicts that these millions of asylum seekers are all running away from along with criminals making vast sums of money from human trafficking.
Illegal immigrants don’t give two shits about the NHS, they just don’t want to be killed in their home country and see the UK rightly or wrongly as being a safe haven from extremist dictators and warlords.

@justanothername Quite so. But I was tsalking from the perspective of the current conservative government and their wish to promote a more America like economic model with the wealthy getting more..😷
