I wish my immigrant ancestors had not settled in the United States. The US sucks.

No more sticking up for this quasi fascist country. Oh, Happy 4th.

It has been a bad few weeks for Truth, JUSTICE and the American way.

@GrinNude really?how so? Abortion got sent back to the states where it was supposed to be. And the second amendment was upheld. Freedom won.
GrinNude · 61-69, C
@Baremine Women's rights are now being taken away in many states. How can that possibly be seen as freedom winning?
Baremine · 70-79, C
@GrinNude nobody's rights were taken away. Jurisdiction was returned to the state where according to the constitution it belonged in the first place. A woman has always had a choice. She spreads her legs there is a chance she will get pregnant. Abortion just means a woman can be irresponsible. Any way you name it, fetus embryo or unborn child, abortion kills a human life.
GrinNude · 61-69, C
@Baremine I believe abortion is wrong also. But I would not take away another woman's right to choose. That's not Freedom winning. That's a minority forcing their religious views onto other people.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@GrinNude it hasn't got anything to do with religion. It has to do with killing a living human being and lack of responsibility.
GrinNude · 61-69, C
@Baremine An embryo is not a living human being. Embryos can be frozen for 20 years. If a woman shouldn't be in charge of her own reproductive planning, who should be? You can't take away women's right to choose and try to disguise it as Freedom winning. Sorry.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@GrinNude nobody took away a woman's so called right to choose. It simply never was in the constitution. It has been a state decision all along. A woman will always have the right to be moral or immoral. The only reason women are complaining is they want to sleep around with no consequences. You know that is the bottom line.
GrinNude · 61-69, C
@Baremine where Have You been? Women had the right to choose up until recently. They no longer have that right. Where have you been? You pretend to know why all women are complaining. You paint with a broad brush. Like I said, I believe abortion is wrong. But I wouldn't force my beliefs onto someone else. I believe that reproductive decisions should be made by the woman involved and not by anyone else. Taking away a woman's right to make her own reproductive decisions is not Freedom winning by any stretch of the imagination.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@GrinNude but the right to choose has Not been taken away. Simply stated it is up to the individual states to decide not the federal government. Don't like what your state does move to one that does. None lost any rights. The is Democrat Misinformation.
GrinNude · 61-69, C
@Baremine the recent Supreme Court decision has severely curtailed a woman's right to choose in many states. We now have free states and not so free states. That is the fact. Don't lie. A woman's right to choose has been taken away in many states already and is in the process of being taken away or severely curtailed in many other states. You know that. Don't lie. Don't act stupid. You know better.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@GrinNude I am well aware of that. Kansas votes Aug 2 I believe. I am from Missouri. Guess women have to CHOOSE before they jump in the sack.
GrinNude · 61-69, C
@Baremine And what about rape and incest victims. They are forced to carry to term? And that's fine with you? I hope you would have more love and compassion than that. Or are love and compassion no longer virtues among anti-choice advocates?
GrinNude · 61-69, C
@Baremine Forcing teens and preteens to carry to term with no exception for rape or incest is about as unChristian as you can get.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@GrinNude you are talking less than one tenth of one percent. If God allowed the pregnancy he has a purpose for that child.
GrinNude · 61-69, C
@Baremine Earlier you said this has nothing to do with religion. Now you are saying it is God's will. If you can't keep your story straight, I guess there's no point in trying to have a reasonable discussion with you. So you would make no exception for rape or incest because the God of your understanding would punish the victim?
Baremine · 70-79, C
@GrinNude nobody is punishing anyone. God doesn't equal religion. There are bunches of religions only one God. Two different things. The business of rape and incest very rarely happen and down deep you know that is the truth.
GrinNude · 61-69, C
@Baremine Any state abortion law that doesn't have an exception for rape or incest is extremely inhumane. And down deep you must know that.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@GrinNude in your opinion. And in this entire discussion you have assumed I would not make exceptions for rape and incest even though the cases of that are less than 1/10 of 1 percent.
