This kinda thinking is what breeds terrorism.
Much like gang culture, people try to find a sense of belonging because they're marginalised and left with little choice.
It's actually pretty insulting and telling of the lack of humanity when refugees of all people are accused of the very thing they're escaping from

They can and will get everywhere

@CakeByTheOcean Its called the Internet. They are in your home now.😷

Most of those "terrorists" in Britain and other countries will have been there all their lives and been converted after feeling excluded or let down by the local system. Those who arrive as refugees are just looking for a new start for their children.😷

@ArtieKat Agreed. There are always exceptions.. And not all terrorism is about Islam. Right to lifers attacking Doctors and Clinis is exactly the same.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman True. And now Incels are being monitored for terrorist activity
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@ArtieKat Yes. The feeling of not fitting in adds to a feeling of having not have your fair share and it goes from there.😷

Almost all violent crimes occur in the victim's own family.

@helenS In this instance I don't think the British people are wrong to be worried: we have no idea how many plots are foiled by our domestic security services - we only hear in the media about their failures to prevent attacks. One in the news last week reported that despite an 8-man armed surveillance team one jihadist managed to steal a knife and wound 2 members of the public before he was shot dead. I believe in the sanctity of human life (I am pro-abortion, however) but what can you do about a rabid dog?

About as likely as you being a decent person

@EuphoricTurtle looking in a mirror?

Someone feel free to tell @SW-User that mentioning me in a comment and then blocking me so you won't see the reply is about as cowardly as it gets. 🤣
ArtieKat · M
Is it worth contacting my local MP about this?
No. In the world of geo-politics what you or I might think is an annoying irrelevance.

I think it’s inevitable that terrorists will get in. They are doing already according to the Telegraph newspaper. There is one who is slipped through the net who is most wanted. It is inevitable because of Biden’s stupid policy
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Grvstu I suppose I could point out that Biden did effectively carry out Trumps stupid policy. But what would be the point?😷
