To this day Roma have never been given an apology about the holocaust

Millions of Jews died in concentration and extermination camps under unspeakable circumstances but the next largest group that were killed were Roma or Gypsies hundreds of thousands all across Europe and to this day there has never an acknowledgment of that fact. Sure there were others Slavic people, homosexuals, Jehovahs witnesses and religious and political dissidents etc. but just like there was genocide of the Jews. There was genocide of the Roma seen as undesirables. And India doesn’t say come home because Roma have been genetically linked to northern India from one thousand years ago. Sure some Gypsies intermixed with white Europeans and other ethnic groups along the worldwide journey but finally a place of origin has been found.

Unfortunately very true.
Roma deserve recognition, reparations and restitution.
To my knowledge, Anti-Ziganism is still commonplace in much pf Europe.
The Roma has a very interesting history alongside the Jews, the other slaves of the exodus, Caleb was reported to be one. The story goes how they started wandering when a Romany smithed christ's nails, the smithy made four nails but only three were used, the fourth cursed to follow the Romany for all eternity. This was the story told to me by a Romany preacher in northern Delaware in 2003.
