Do the political right believe in 'Cancel Culture?'

I think the do, only because they practice it often enough. The blocking option is meant to be to stop abuse, not arguments that you disagree with.

In the last two days I've been blocked for asking for evidence that the US election was fixed (he didn't wanna play that 'game' because I have too much 'bias'). Also, I got blocked by a Modi supporter for calling him a Modi supporter and for saying that the movement he supports has a link with the European radical right. His question was about Muslim immigration to the west and the current Indian government is very anti Muslim. He knew all of that but was pretending not to.

Its ironic that the right complain about people being canceled and 'safe space' culture when so many just block anyone who challenges their world view.

Stop being a narcissist and an a -hole and people won’t block you. But to assume conservatives approve of disgusting liberal ideology simply because a few people won’t put up with your bullshit is a bit rich , even for a lib.

@TexChik So if I criticise people and have a different ideology, I'm gonna get blocked?
TexChik · F
@Burnley123 possibly . It’s called freedom . Just as you are free to criticize them, they are free to erase you from their existence and have a nice day .

@Burnley123 Focus on arguing the point.. Not attacking people and you will be blocked less..

Play the Ball not the Man..

@TexChik 'Erase from their existence?' lol. Such a nice way of putting it.

OK but to be consistent, you can never ever complain again about university non platforming.

I'm also assuming you have never complained about Twitter 'having the right' to ban a certain former president... 😎

@Adstar I do that already but thanks.
So if I criticise people and have a different ideology
Criticizing a different Ideology is playing the ball..

Criticizing people is playing the man..

Focus on the ideology, critique the ideology.. Don't seek to attack the individual..

@Burnley123 no Twitter was free to censor the president , just as Others were free to dole out the consequences . In this case it cost Twitter a billion in lost revenue . And I deleted my account there as well .

@Adstar I don't attack individuals and I don't personalise things. At the top of this very thread, Texchick has done that to me. I'm not offended, just pointing that out.
