Poor whites are black too?
If you mean that these anti-democracy laws that target blacks are also stopping a lot of poor whites from voting, I agree.

it's a waste of taxpayer money, the people defending it should be demonized by our society , we should be running ads attacking adn criticizing them as people for daring to abuse their first amendment rights to actually apologeticallly defenda a WASTE of our tax dollars. People like you and your argument are a drain on the system that doesn't want to own that it is a drain on the system. you're a parasite.
What Voter fraud? It's a solution in search of a non existennt problem. I don't care if you ARE racist or not, you're still defending wasting tax dollars printing all those stupid ids. which makes you a parasite, whether you are a racist or not. even if it there is a tiny bit of fraud it isn't worth the amount of money it would take to actually enforce this stupid fucking brainlet chud law.
if america can afford this stupid fucking law I don't want to hear another fucking peep about how we cannot afford free college. because you can.

restrictive “voter identification” laws pushed by Republicans, and widely regarded to be ineffective and discriminatory, have cost taxpayers at least $36m in just a few states, the Guardian can reveal.https://www.mcall.com/opinion/mc-xpm-2011-06-10-mc-bill-white-voter-id-20110610-story.html Voter ID law: A way to waste $11 million

Requiring and ID to vote is just another measure to help reduce Voter Fraud, that's it.

@BetweenKittensandRiots they needn't print a specified Id, you just need to provide your ID or driver's license (which is the law to carry at all times anyways) the argument that this was systemically racist was based on people allegedly couldn't afford to drive the DMV to get their proper state ID or driver's license. Ironically you need either/or for banking, is that racist?

@SW-User fear and paranoia of everything. Oh and the markets basically depend on fear to keep people consuming so they push a lot of fear porn on us so that people will keep shopping continously.

@BetweenKittensandRiots I am so appauled that people would blame an entertainer for the travesty that happened.
BetweenKittensandRiots · 36-40, MVIP
Yeah all this from the right after they tried to destroy the Dixie Chicks for saying something awesome in europe about the former monster in the white house.
blamed video games for school shootings instead of easy access to guns.
came after dungeons and dragons, implied MTV was the spawn of satan, plastered our CDS with parental advisory strickers... etc

@BetweenKittensandRiots I was really surprised to hear that the Dixie Chicks were once boycotted. But it makes sense since most of their fans are conservative war-mongers.
