I met a friend from high school and she reminded me of what Miram did in her teen years 👀

One time her mother invited me over, we cooked together, set the whole table… and right as I was about to sit down, her brothers and father looked at me aggressively and shouted at me.

I asked what was wrong since I am from different culture, and her mother explained that in their culture, women eat whatever is left after the men finish. And I have to wait.

Me wait after men? No way. I spat on the men's plates and got kicked out. 🙃

Figured if they’re practicing Middle Ages traditions, I’m allowed to practice my caveman traditions too.

My friend brought that up laughing and said they eventually stopped doing that and with her own husband they all eat together.
