I’ve never worked with them
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
In some instances hard working and kind. Other instances hard working and competitive.
I think that's the same with people from different racial backgrounds.
I try and just take people as they come.
Is there a particular reason you're asking about Indians in particular?

My Sister has worked with them, she worked as an IT trainer in Chennai.. The worst thing she experienced was male students who could not admit to being wrong in frount of a woman because they would lose face..
TessDun · 41-45, F
@Adstar we have a new hire who would appear to be know-it-all and she could not just be still. She would ask questions and the team lead would give her detail answers with screenshots and you would not hear her say thank you. She would instead say “exactly my thoughts”, and ,,,I’m wondering if it is cultural thing or an attitude thing not related with race.
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@Adstar that's the irony... it's okay to be prejudice if it's "cultural" and they're not white, but God forbid any white person anywhere has any...

Hard workers but its all about the money for them. I was working Night shift in an Aged Care home. Most of our Indian Co-workers were agency staff. Even so we had some regulars.
The thing that I found with these agency staff where. On the weekends they would work a Morning Shift at one place. An afternoon at a second and then come to here for a night shift. Napping in their cars on their breaks and between shifts. By Sunday night, it was like the walk of the living dead. Absolutely f#cking useless. And one of them crashed his car a couple of times that year, driving home on the Monday morning.

Like with members of any other group; various temperaments and personalities. 🤨

Using that logic, Europeans are from Asia too.
See Neolithic Near Eastern farmer, Pontic-Caspian pastotalists. All more recent than the migration from Beringia to the Americas.
“The native Americans?”
They are from Siberia.

@basilfawlty89 Have you noticed that Europeans appear very mixed? And have you noticed that Native Americans do not? The former was not isolated. The latter was. With regard to geography, Europeans were never Siberian. They are from Central and West Asia. If you were to test the ancestry of the European and the Native American, who do you think would have the Asian ancestry? The Native American. Basil FaUlTy. Faulty brain.
Native Americans were settled in the Americas for thousands of years. I am not sure whether I would call them the Siberians of today. I also wouldn't say that northern Native Americans are identical to southern ones. One remained in colder climates, the other migrated to warmer climates. Even to the jungle.
What is your point, basil? You are speaking to someone who believes in God. The Bible. I believe in Adam and Eve. I believe the first man and woman were from Mesopotamia.

@yestestvennaya I think it's your brain that's faulty here.
1. Native Americans migrated from an already mixed population in Beringia roughly 20 000 to 30 000 years ago.
Like Europeans, they have Ancient North Asian ancestry as can be seen with yDNA haplogroups such P, Q and R.
2. Europeans first arrived from Africa as Hunter-Gatherers. Approximate 5000 years ago, Neolithic Near Eastern farmers settled in Europe, introduced agriculture and mixed with the local population. After that, settlers from the Pontic-Caspian steppe bringing in the Indo-European language family.
This is why yDNA Haplogroups in Europe were first I, but most Europeans are R, because that came from the Indo-European migrations. Furthermore many Greek amd Southern Europe have J which is strongly associated with the Middle East, and E which is associated with the Horn of Africa.
Humans migrated out of the Horn of Africa.
Not Mesopotamia. This can be confirmed with genetics, archeology, and carbon dating.

@basilfawlty89 Faulty in a different way.
It is less than thirty thousand years. They say that Native American migration is closer to fifteen to twenty thousand years. I don't know. I don't want to think about time. Europeans? They have very little north Asian ancestry, ancient or not. It is only the Slavs of Russia who have some north Asian ancestry. The further south, the less it becomes. I am from the south.
I believe what the Tanakh says. Old Testament tells me that God created man and woman, Adam and Chavah (Eve), and that they were put in the garden of Eden, in modern-day Iraq. I believe it.

People whose ancestry is from India or Native North Americans?

If you have to tell it’s not meant to be racist you better not continue it from there.

they're on about the same level as arabs and mexicans when it comes to personal hygiene... 🤔

@wildbill83 I mean how about working behaviors?

@TessDun tend to keep to themselves; not lazy, but don't put any extra effort in either
