After more than six decades of being black in America, I have to say that black people are actually at an all-time cultural low. While this degraded state has correlated with the decline of American culture, a rotting value system within the black culture is the ultimate catalyst. The national infection of the hip-hop sub-culture has spread from its origins in poor black neighborhoods to mainstream America.

Pop culture is bankrupt and has been for quite a while.

@carpediem @carpediem Much of pop culture is predicated on black American culture - which is actually an American sub culture. However, it is very different from general American pop culture in many ways so, to be accurate, it is necessary to distinguish between the two.

@AmericanAvenger I’ll leave that analysis to you. It’s clear you’re more in tuned with that concept than I.
