I watched a movie filmed in an endangered language

Edge of the Knife is a 2018 film shot in the Haida language, only about 2 dozen people left who are fluent in it.

The Haida are the indigenous people of British Columbia and the film was shot on location in Haida Gwaii, an archipelago off Canada's west coast. The cast of mostly non actors had to take a crash course in the language prior to filming, and the film delves deeply into Haida folklore.

I don't think this film is for everyone but as someone with an interest in indigenous cultures and folklore I found it really captivating.
